Project Background
The client is one of the largest aluminum profile manufacturers in the UAE, supplying door & window factories and curtain wall contractors across the Gulf region. They demanded coatings with 25-year outdoor service life. Their previous vertical manual spray was inefficient and produced inconsistent thickness.
The Challenge
Architectural aluminum profiles run 4-7 m long (max 6.8 m), requiring tall booths and special conveyance. Profile cross-sections are complex (multi-cavity, decorative patterns) — standard booths produce missed spots or powder buildup.

MUSI engineered a 9-meter-tall vertical powder coating system: workpieces hang vertically through the booth with 14 circumferentially-mounted spray guns + reciprocating motion ensuring uniform coating on all faces. Outdoor-grade polyester powder paired with precise oven control delivers 2,000+ hour salt spray performance.

Implementation
