Automotive Coating Line
Coating line built to an audited specification — plus or minus 10 micron film control, 500 to 1,000 hours salt spray, and batch-level data logging from the first day of production.
Built for chassis and structural parts, wheels, brackets and interior components supplied to Tier-1 and Tier-2 programmes.
Technical Specifications
| Part range | Chassis and structural parts, wheels, brackets, interior components |
|---|---|
| Film tolerance | Plus or minus 10 microns on a 60-100 micron target |
| Corrosion target | 500-1,000 h salt spray to ASTM B117 or ISO 9227 |
| Pretreatment | Seven-stage, zinc phosphate or chrome-free zirconium |
| Application | Six-axis robot or reciprocator, closed-loop kV and powder flow |
| Throughput | 300-2,000 parts per hour at 1.5-5.0 m/min |
| Conveyor | Overhead chain, or power-and-free above 500 parts per hour |
| Traceability | Film thickness, cure profile and bath control logged per batch |
Line Configuration
- Seven-stage pretreatment tunnel with etch and DI rinse control
- Dry-off oven sized so parts leave completely dry at line speed
- Robot or reciprocator booth with quick colour change where required
- Curing oven with part metal temperature logging on every batch
- Fixed part jigs rather than free-swinging hooks, for film uniformity
- Control panel specified with logging outputs from the start
Application References
Tier-1 and Tier-2 automotive suppliers coating chassis parts, wheels and brackets against a written OEM specification with recorded evidence rather than visual acceptance.
Engineering Commitment
Every line is engineered against a written performance specification. Line speed, cure profile, film build and emission level are stated in the contract and demonstrated on your own part at the factory trial run before shipment. One engineering team owns the whole chain — pretreatment, application, curing, conveying and emission control — so the trade-offs between them are settled on the drawing board, not on your factory floor.
Service & Delivery
Standard configurations ship in 30-60 days with 12-24 months warranty. On-site installation, commissioning and operator training are available worldwide, and process tuning and spare parts support continue for the working life of the line.
